2008 Revaluation Information
|

|
|
|
The revaluation of all property in Greenland is well underway and the proposed, revised assessments are available for your review.
This revised assessment is the result of an analytical assessment update conducted over the past several months by the town’s assessing contractor, Granite Hill Municipal Services.
This update was necessary to meet the Department of Revenue’s required certification for 2008.
Assessments had fallen to an average of 82% of market value in 2007.
The assessed valuation you received by mail is the value of your property used for property tax purposes.
It includes any reductions for land in current use, but does not reflect any elderly exemptions or veteran’s tax credits to which you may be entitled.
If you want to compare your assessment with those of other properties in your neighborhood or that are similar to your property, lists are available to review in the town office or through the documents posted here.
The information has been sent to Vision Appraisal and that data will be updated to show the new values through the link on this website.
For more information, please read the 2008 REVAL INFO document.
For revaluations in the town by location, please read the 2008 REVAL BY LOCATION document.
For revaluations in the town by owner, please read the 2008 REVAL BY OWNER document.
